Who we are

Elsley Solutions ("we", "us") operates elsleysolutions.com. You can reach us about anything in this notice at info at elsleysolutions dot com.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us:

• A new enquiry: your name, email address, telephone number if you provide it, the areas you are interested in, your description of what you need and how you would like us to reply.
• Clients: the email address and password used to sign in, and the time of the most recent sign-in. Passwords are stored only in a one-way encrypted (hashed) form.
• Correspondence: anything you send us by email or tell us in conversation afterwards.

You do not need to name people, homes or assets in an enquiry, and we suggest you don't until we have spoken.

Cookies and technical information

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. When a client signs in, the site sets a single essential cookie to keep that session open. It contains no personal information and is removed on signing out or closing the browser.

The site's typefaces are delivered by Google Fonts, and the site is served by a hosting provider. As with any website, these services receive standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the page.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry in the way you asked.
• To prepare for a first conversation with you.
• To keep a record of enquiries and our correspondence with you.

We do not add you to mailing lists, and we never use your details for marketing unless you have asked us to keep you informed.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We share it only in these cases:

• Service providers who help run the site. Form submissions are relayed to our inbox by FormSubmit, which may keep a copy for a limited period, currently 30 days. Our email and hosting providers also handle your information on our behalf.
• Professional advisors such as our lawyers and accountants, where needed and under a duty of confidentiality.
• Where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

We do not share enquiry details with brokers, vendors or other partners. If you become a client, how we handle your household's information is set out in your written agreement with us.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you and maintain a record of our correspondence. If we do not go on to work together, we delete it when it is no longer needed, or sooner if you ask, unless we are required by law to keep it.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and we limit access to enquiries to the people at Elsley Solutions who need to see them. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so please keep sensitive details for our first conversation.

Your choices

You may ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to info at elsleysolutions dot com and we will respond promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, and we will honor them.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
